We've been granted a two-month extension to the free trial of The Cecil Papers database, until 30 April 2011.

The Cecil Papers are an archive of 16th and 17th century manuscripts, privately held by the Gascoyne-Cecil family at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire.

It contains nearly 30,000 documents gathered by William Cecil, Lord Burghley (1520-1598) and his son Robert Cecil, the 1st Earl of Salisbury (1563-1612), both Secretary of State to Elizabeth I.

Please see this this earlier post for more information.
