Staff and teaching in the School of Management have changed a great deal since we first subscribed to Emerald in 2003, and the fact that teaching and research emphases now lie elsewhere was the catalyst for the School's decision to investigate alternative subject databases.
We will retain perpetual access to the Emerald backfiles (more than 100 years of management research), the Emerald Business, Management and Economics eBook Series Collection, and the Emerald Social Sciences eBook Series Collection. All the titles in these collections are listed in SAULCAT.

This focus on new areas of teaching and research has led to a number of new business and management databases being purchased in the last year:
contains the full text of more than 2,100 journals, back to 1965. Coverage includes marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance and economics
comprehensive access to details of published scholarly material in science, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts and humanities
Market awareness and information on public and private companies. The Deals module provides information on Mergers and Acquisitions; the Ownership module includes global share ownership data and investor profiles.
