New e-Resource - Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE)

© JoVE
Meet JoVE (The Journal of Visualized Experiments) - the world's first scientific video journal for biological, medical, chemical and physical research.

We have access to the JoVE General module.

JoVE is the first online journal devoted to the video publication of biological research as a medium for learning, teaching and research.  It explains experimental techniques and procedures through a novel combination of peer-reviewed video and text.

The videos are filmed in research laboratories at leading academic institutions, including Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Berkeley, Yale, etc. Around 50 new videos are published every month.

Subject coverage includes cell biology, development biology, immunology, neuroscience, microbiology and bioengineering.

JoVE is indexed in PubMed, so you can link from your search results into the JOVE articles we have access to.

Links to JoVE are being added to SAULCAT and the E-Journals web pages.

NB:  why not submit your own video-article? - JoVE invites contributions
