TRILT and BoB - now easier access to TV/radio programmes

TRILT and BoB are two complementary databases, produced by the BUFVC (British Universities Film and Video Council)
  • TRILT, the Television and Radio Index for Learning and Teaching - is the best source of UK television and radio data on the web, with over 300 TV/radio channels, from 1995 onwards
You can search in TRILT for copies of relevant programmes, back to 1995:
  • if a programme listed in TRILT can be supplied as an off-air DVD, you'll see links to requesting a programme, and also to viewing it in BoB, if available
  • check the 'Recorded by BUFVC' box, before doing a search - this will ensure that you only retrieve programmes which can be supplied as an off-air recording
  • or, if there is a 'Request this Programme' link, in the details of a programme listed in TRILT, just complete the details required, for a DVD copy, which will be held in the Library
