New e-Resource - two new JSTOR e-journal collections

The Library has added perpetual access to two new JSTOR e-journal collections to its e-resources.

This gives us access to the complete JSTOR (Journal STORage) database which archives over 2,518 leading scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences, from volume 1 onward.

The two new collections are:
features broad coverage in the Business & Social Sciences, Sociology, Education, Public Policy & Administration, and the History of Science, Technology & Medicine, as well as Transportation and Development Studies
expands coverage in Language & Literature, History, Art & Art History, Classical Studies, Architecture & Architectural History, and Music

Most journals have a 3-5 year moving wall between the content in JSTOR and the current published issue, designed to protect the revenue publishers make from the sales of current issues.

NB: links into the individual e-journals will shortly appear on the A-Z e-Journal pages, and in SAULCAT, the Library catalogue
