Jisc MediaHub - 1,519,500+ multimedia items and new features

Search across 1,519,500 digital image, video and audio items through Jisc MediaHub, the definitive academic video, image and audio resource.

Content from ITN, Getty, Imperial War Museum, Gaumont cinema newsreels and many other significant collections can be downloaded and used freely for teaching and learning. Material includes news and documentary films, music archives and still images.

A new release of Jisc MediaHub is now available.  It includes: 
  • the facility to upload images to the service, either via Flickr or from your computer
  • a pan/zoom functionality for viewing large images
  • a new feature that allows you to sort your search results by your proximity to given locations 
  • the ability to leave comments in the Location field of records
  • more films from the Wellcome Moving Image & Sound Collection
  • an open search of the Fitzwilliam Museum Open Data Services collection of over 80,000 images
