New Literature Online (LION) is now live!

The brand new, improved interface for Literature Online (LION) is now live - do take a look. It has a fresh new look, and a more powerful search engine, which provides a faster, more efficient search experience.

It is also now fully mobile-compatible, meaning you can use it on tablets or smartphones, wherever and whenever you need it.

LION is an indispensible resource for literary studies - it integrates over 350,000 works of poetry, prose and drama from the 8th to the 21st Century with a huge library of critical and reference material, including thousands of literary articles, essays, biographies and encyclopedia entries,

A new Literature Online LibGuide gives details of what it contains, how to search it, and how to view the results.

The 'old' version of Literature Online will be available until the end of June 2014, to give you time to start using the new version.

NB: If you use the My Archive feature in Literature Online, which allows you to create a personal repository for saved items and searches, you will need to save your data and create a new My Archive account in the new Literature Online.  Your data will not be migrated across.
