Introducing BoB (Box of Broadcasts National) - access over 1 million TV and radio programmes

BoB (Box of Broadcasts) National is an innovative shared online TV and radio streaming service, subscribed to by the Library. It allows you to:
  • view over 1 million TV and radio programmes, back to 2007, on- and off-campus 
  • record TV and radio programmes from over 60 channels, broadcast in the previous 30 days
  • schedule recordings days in advance
  • watch BOB on handheld devices
  • create playlists and clips, and share via Twitter, etc
  • store and reuse your recordings, embed in the curriculum, VLEs, etc.
  • display and search interactive transcripts and thumbnails
  • read case studies showing how BoB/audio-visual material can be used in innovative and effective ways within education
  • access over 13 foreign language channels, including German, French and Italian
  • search across future and recorded programmes simultaneously
The first time you access, you will need to register.  Please make sure that you use your University e-mail address.

Then select Login', type 'St Andrews' into the Enter Organisation Name search box, click on the link to the University of St Andrews, and login with your University Account details.
